Born and raised in Punjab, India, Manu speaks fluent Hindi, Punjabi and English. From an army family, he and his siblings were moved around a lot so Manu personally understands about the challenges of adjusting to life at a new address. Artistic and sporty, from an early age he was a talented kabaddi player. Competitive and driven to succeed, Manu follows these principles to this day. Coming to New Zealand after IT studies, Manu sought new adventures and to further his education. He acquired a Diploma in Hospitality and another in Business Management and worked in the hospitality and liquor supply industries where he was rapidly promoted to management roles. After 2 years with an IT company as a sales consultant, he became a personal fitness trainer primarily training and mentoring bodybuilders to prepare them for competition.

Manu moved into real estate at the encouragement of friends and business associates. His strongly competitive nature, capacity to connect with and inspire people, and his exceptional IT skills were vital in an industry that revolves around client care and the effective marketing of property. Manu is a good listener and in his prior roles has amassed a loyal customer base of community connections.
